An International Forum on Angel Investing: The Missing Link towards an innovation economy in the Arab region was held during Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2023 in Cairo, Egypt.  The objective of the meeting was to provide a platform for leading regional stakeholders and experts of the Arab region to identify and discuss key opportunities and challenges of building a women-inclusive innovation economy in the Arab region. This was followed by the formation of an Arab Women Academy for Business Angels (AWABA). The meeting was attended by 39 participants representing many organizations and educational institutions.
